Crew Experience and Vessel Information

Clipper City 

Clipper City is a 158-foot gaff-rigged schooner located in the New York Harbor. This schooner operates as a charter vessel. I worked as the first mate onboard for the 2024 season. 

My role involved managing and training deckhands, leading sail handling, docking procedures, and customer relations. As well as rigging and yard work pre season. 

SSV Robert C. Seamans

Robert C. Seamans is a 134-foot steel brigantine-rigged tall ship owned by the Sea Education Association. 

My role aboard was as an oceanographic research student and deckhand. For a total of 6 weeks and 2148 nautical miles during our passage from Aukland to Napier, New Zealand, and Great Barrier Island.  

SSV Corwith Cramer

The Corwith Cramer is a brigantine-rigged tall ship owned by the Sea Education Association (41 m in  length). Her home port is Woods Hole, Massachusetts, United States.  She is a 134-foot (41 m) steel brigantine built as a research vessel for operation under sail and generally sails in the Atlantic Ocean.

In the summer of July 2019 I was onboard as student crew member for two weeks sailing from Woods Hole through Stallwagen Bank and out beyond the continental shelf for a total of 677nm. 

MS Shamrock

The Shamrock (28 m) is a Galeasen school boat owned by Skeppsholmsgården in Stockholm. In the summer of 2018, I sailed the Stockholm Archipelago with a crew of 20 up through the Baltic Sea to Umeå and back to Stockholm over 4 weeks. 

I later took part in the Saltkråkan Race as a crew member.  Saltkråkan is an annual race between tall ships in Stockholm's archipelago. 

SY Ellen

SY Ellen is a 2-masted wood schooner located in Stockholm.  I sailed the Stockholm Archipelago with a crew of 18 in the summer of 2016.
