Media and Outreach

Rockefeller University's Science Saturday

Rockefeller University’s annual Science Saturday is a community-based education initiative for hundreds of kids aged k-8. I organized and designed a learning station, “Guardians of the Ocean: We Need Seaweed,” teaching children about the importance of our oceans and the carbon system. This experience was extremely rewarding and showed me the impact educational outreach can have on communities, particularly for my mission to help bridge the gap between humans and nature.
